We’re here to get to know you and your business just as much as saving you tax and maximising your profit. We see ourselves as much more than just accountants.

Our accountancy business in Chorley is built on big ideas. We learn from others, adapt our practices and introduce new ones.

We take our culture and goals seriously, continuously improving on the past.

We filed our first set of customer accounts in 2010, and today support growing businesses with all wild-and-wonderful challenges standing in the way of their own vision.

Managing Director

Responsible for helping our customers achieve their dreams

I created Woodville in 2010. Starting locally in Chorley, I grew my network of customers around the North West using flyers and word-of-mouth – techniques from my previous life as a DJ – you may have seen I’ve even started my own business podcast!

Now in 2022, I believe in business improvement. My office bookshelf grows each month with business and tax books. I practice what I preach, I continue to develop my business in the same way that Woodville supports businesses to grow and realise their potential.

Responsible for client’s year end accounts and self assessment tax returns.

I like to get our customers in order with their accounts and tax returns ensuring a smooth process when it comes to year end.

I also help our customers to pay as little tax as possible and make sure they understand what they need to pay and when by.

Responsible for ensuring client’s books are in order ready to be reviewed.

I joined Woodville in 2016 whilst starting my AAT Level 3 at Preston. I have since completed AAT Level 4 and progressed from looking after payroll and VAT to assisting with the completion of accounts.

VAT / Cloud Accounting Manager

Responsible for our cloud accounting experience and client’s vat returns.

I joined the team in Jan 2020, I have 20 years experience within the accounting practice, primarily in the retail industry. I work full time as well as being a mum to two young children.

I’m looking forward to gaining more experience in different industries and helping business owners see the benefits of cloud accounting.

I love delivering 121 training sessions with our clients on QuickBooks Online, making sure they get to grips with Making Tax Digital.

Responsible for bookkeeping, CIS & payroll

I joined Woodville in the middle of 2020 and work as a remote bookkeeper based in the far North of England.

I help our customers to keep on top of their bookkeeping as well as running payroll & submitting CIS reports to HMRC.

Accounts Assistant

Responsible for producing draft accounts and self-assessments.

I joined Woodville in June 2021, halfway through an accountancy apprenticeship that started a year earlier. I will complete my AAT L4 in the summer of 2022 before starting ACCA.

I get involved in a wide area of the business from helping Helen with admin, to bookkeeping and then to producing sets of draft accounts.

Admin Assistant

Responsible for our admin function

I joined Woodville in March 2022 having worked with Michael in a previous company together.

I have recently returned to the accountancy world after a decade in other industries. I am looking forward to helping to re-organise the Woodville office after a couple of years of working hybrid and home working.
